Dr. Jerry Marcaccini, DDS

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 12 noon in Resurrection Catholic Church, Eveleth. Con-celebrants will be Fr. Charles Flynn and Fr. Frank Perkovich. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church. A reception will be held in the church hall following services. Jerry and his father, Geno will be buried when the earth is warm and the sun is shining at the Eveleth Cemetery.


Jerry Marcaccini, DDS, 58, of Eveleth died suddenly on January 5, 2010 of cardiac arrhythmia on his way home from work in Virginia where he had a dental practice for over 30 years.

He was born on January 21, 1951 and lived in Eveleth on St. Mary’s Lake. He was educated at St. John’s College and the University of MN. Jerry will be remembered for his artwork, photography, piano playing, endless notes, clippings and anecdotes which he shared with his many friends. His world was his family and home at St. Mary’s Lake where he could be found on his dock on every sunny day. He was taken from this world far too soon and will be greatly missed by so many people he touched in life. No one had a sense of humor like his.

At the time of his death he was survived by his parents, Geno and Leona, his brother, Jon (Laura), their children, David, Bobby and Michael, his sister, Susan and his faithful dog, Lucky whom are all heartbroken.
